Social Motion Media is Jennifer Jean Mawby and Mark Glover Masterson who make moving images through digital and analog means with stop motion animation, hand drawn illustration, video, GIFs and cinemagraphs. Lately, they've been happily making GIFs from medium format and 3D 35mm film photography.

Jennifer is an exhibiting visual artist and experimental animator/filmmaker who holds an honours Masters of Fine Arts degree. Her vintage camera collection is almost as big as her shoe collection for which she blames maternal genetics and time spent in front of the camera as a fashion model.

Mark is an award-winning factual filmmaker with a penchant for lush jazz, writers who drank too much, and obscure cinema trivia.
